According to OPEC's monthly report, total oil exports from Russia and Central Asian countries averaged 6.5 million barrels per day in February-an increase of 264,000 bpd, or 4%, compared to January.
Exports via the Transneft pipeline network in February were up 38,000 bpd or 1% from the previous month at 3.7 million bpd but were 178,000 bpd or 5% less than in February 2024, The Caspian Post reports citing Interfax.
Oil supplies from the Baltic Sea ports in February fell 16,000 bpd or just over 1% from January to 1.3 million bpd. Exports from Ust-Luga increased by 191,000 bpd or 55% to 540,000 bpd, while exports from Primorsk fell by 207,000 bpd or 21%, to 793,000 bpd. Overall exports through the Baltic Sea ports fell by 152,000 bpd, or 10% versus February 2024.
Oil exports from Novorossiysk increased by 50,000 bpd or almost 10% to 550,000 bpd.
Exports via the Druzhba pipeline in February increased by 18,000 bpd, or more than 5%, to 341,000 bpd and were up 40,000 bpd or 13% from February 2024.
Exports to China via the ESPO pipeline in February decreased by 22,000 bpd, or about 3%. Exports through the Pacific port of Kozmino were virtually unchanged compared to January at 843,000 bpd, which was 98,000 bpd or 10% lower than in February 2024.
Oil transshipment at the Far Eastern ports of De-Kastri and Aniva in February totaled 250,000 bpd. Supplies from Aniva fell by 45,000 bpd or 44% compared to January, while from De-Kastri they increased by 11,000 bpd or 6%.
Exports via the Lukoil terminal in Varandey in the Barents Sea in decreased by 34,000 bpd compared with January, or 35%, to 65,000 bpd but were 4,000 bpd or 6% lower than in February 2024.
Oil exports from Central Asia in February averaged 247,000 bpd, which is 14,000 bpd or 6% more than in January and 40,000 bpd or 19% more than in February 2024.
Total exports from the Black Sea region from the CPC terminal rose 301,000 bpd or 22% compared to January and 224,000 bpd or 16% compared to February 2024. Exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in February decreased by 21,000 bpd or 3% to 588,000 bpd and were 30,000 bpd or 5% less than in February 2024.
Total exports of petroleum products from Russia and Central Asia in February decreased by 43,000 bpd or 2% compared to January to 2.6 million bpd and were 263,000 bpd or 9% lower than the same month in 2024. Exports fell due to a drop in supplies of most petroleum products, except naphtha.
