Member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will establish a working group focused on labor, employment, and social protection.
The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation in areas such as labor legislation, workers’ rights, occupational health and safety, gender equality, and other related fields, fostering a more secure and equitable work environment across member states, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is an international regional organization established in 2009, originally as the Turkic Council, to strengthen cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries. Its founding members are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye, with Uzbekistan later joining and several observer states participating. The OTS focuses on political, economic, cultural, and educational collaboration, promoting shared values, language, and heritage among Turkic nations. Key initiatives include trade facilitation, infrastructure projects, youth and education programs, and regional security cooperation. The organization also hosts summits and forums to coordinate policies and foster unity among member states.
