Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), has met with a delegation from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In a post on X, the CBA said the meeting included an exchange of views on developments in the global economy and financial markets, the current challenges facing central banks, and key issues related to the management of foreign exchange reserves, The Caspian Post reports.

The discussions also focused on opportunities to strengthen long-term cooperation between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the CBA added.
