Kyrgyzstan, Hungary Set to Launch Direct Flights

The Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh at today's meeting considered and approved in the third reading the draft law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Hungary on air traffic", signed on November 5, 2024 in Bishkek.

Ratification of the agreement creates a legal basis for regular flights between the two countries, including the transportation of passengers, cargo and mail, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.

It is expected that the opening of direct air traffic will contribute to the intensification of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary in the trade, economic, tourism and humanitarian spheres.

Direct flights will strengthen the partnership between the countries and create new opportunities for business and tourism.
