Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin signed the Joint Statement on deepening strategic partnership in a new global order.
The document was inked during the Russian leader’s state visit to Astana on Wednesday, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
The members of delegations exchanged the following documents in the presence of the Presidents:
1. Program of interregional and cross border cooperation between the Kazakh and Russian governments for 2024/28;
2. Action plan to implement the Program of interregional and cross border cooperation between the Kazakh and Russian governments for 2024/28;
3. Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments to cooperate in development of railway transport and infrastructure, roads as well as road and railway checkpoints across the state border between Kazakhstan and Russia;
4. Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments on the procedure of reconstruction, major repairs, repairs and maintenance of the road bridge across the Talovaya River between Syrym and Mashtakovo checkpoints through the Kazakh-Russian state border and approaches to it;
5. Agreement between the Kazakh Transport Ministry and the Russian Transport Ministry on mutual recognition of diplomas of members of crews of maritime vessels;
6. Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments on cooperation in the healthcare field;
7. Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments on the use of numbering of the 7th zone of the world numbering;
8. Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments on tourism cooperation;
9. Agreement between Kazakh and Russian governments on the operation of the Kostanay branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education. "Chelyabinsk State University";
10. Protocol on reactivation of the Agreement between the Kazakh and Russian governments on trade and economic cooperation in supply of oil and oil products in Kazakhstan as of December 9, 2010, and introduction of changes to it;
11. Agreement between the Kazakh Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee pf the Russian Federation on cooperation;
12. Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Justice of Russia;
13. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Kazakh and Russian Justice Ministries on cooperation in the field of legal regulation of activities of non-commercial organizations;
14. Cooperation Program between the Kazakh and Russian Justice Ministries for 2025/26;
15. Memorandum of cooperation in the fields of construction and housing and utilities between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia;
16. Agreement on strategic cooperation between Kazakhstan Railways and Russian Railways;
17. Agreement to implement the project between Kazakhstan Railways, Xi’an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd and Slavtrans Service;
18. Memorandum of intent between Kazakhstan Railways and Fininvest LLC;
19. Agreement on cooperation on the use of efficient technologies to reduce pollutant emissions at power units no. 3 and 4 of the Ekibastuz GRES-2 Power Station between Samruk Energo and Firma ORGRES LLC.
