Natural gas transmission through both offshore lines of the TurkStream pipeline will be temporarily suspended from June 2 to June 7 due to scheduled maintenance work, according to a statement issued by TurkStream.
The company said gas flows will be halted during this period while planned maintenance and essential diagnostic procedures are carried out at the gas receiving terminal in Kiyikoy, Türkiye, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
The maintenance work will be performed by South Stream Transport B.V., the operator responsible for TurkStream’s offshore natural gas pipeline system.
TurkStream transports Russian natural gas across the Black Sea to Türkiye through two parallel pipelines, each with an annual transmission capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters.
One of the pipeline lines supplies natural gas to the Turkish domestic market, while the second line delivers gas to European countries through the Turkish-Bulgarian border.
