A presentation of the documentary film The Colonel, dedicated to the life and legacy of distinguished Azerbaijani military officer and Georgia native Vali Bay Yadigarov, has taken place in Tbilisi.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Salname Documentary Film Studio and supported by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The ceremony brought together Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, embassy staff, and representatives of the Azerbaijani community and cultural circles in Georgia.
Produced under a state commission, the film highlights the extraordinary life and service of Colonel Vali Bay Yadigarov, who served with distinction in the armies of Tsarist Russia, the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, and Poland, earning high military ranks and numerous decorations in each.
The documentary was filmed across Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Poland.
