Georgia Temporarily Closes Road Section Leading to Armenia Border

Georgia has temporarily closed a section of the road leading to the border with Armenia, towards the Ninotsminda-Bavra checkpoint.

All types of vehicles are prohibited from passing through the Paravani Pass due to snowstorm and poor visibility, according to the Roads Department of Georgia, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

The restriction is in effect on the 94th- to 110th-kilometer section of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda motorway in Georgia.
