The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported on Wednesday that a 4.7-magnitude earthquake hit southern Iran's Hormozgan province.
The EMSC added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 14 kilometers, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iraqi News Agency.
A week earlier, Iranian state media, citing the Iranian National Seismological Center, reported that a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck the capital, Tehran.
