Iran’s Fars News Agency has released a list of five sites that Tehran considers potential “legitimate targets” in the event of hostile action by an adversary.

The country’s Supreme Leader warned:

"Iran will demand compensation from the enemy, and if refused, will seize assets or destroy property in equivalent proportion," The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Following this, the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters cautioned that attacks on Iran’s energy facilities and ports would trigger serious repercussions.

According to the Fars report, the potential targets include:

Samarra Refinery, Saudi Arabia

Al-Hosn Gas Facilities, UAE

Al-Jubail Petrochemical Plant, Saudi Arabia

Q-Chem Chemical Plant and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company, Qatar

Ras Laffan Refinery, UAE
