The National Pavilion of Iran has officially opened at GITEX Global 2025, showcasing the active participation of Iranian technology firms and startups. Ten companies are exhibiting within the national pavilion, while two others are participating independently. Additionally, fifteen innovative startups are presenting their projects at North Star Dubai, the exhibition's startup-focused section.

Located in Hall 14, Iranian teams are presenting their latest achievements across diverse fields including artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, blockchain, and digital health. Their participation reflects Iran’s growing technological capabilities and the vibrancy of its innovation ecosystem, The Caspian Post reports citing Iranian media.

During the first two days of GITEX 2025, several prominent Iranian economic figures visited the pavilion, including Mohammadreza Talaei, Afshin Kolahi, Ali Masoudi, and Saeed Rasoulaf (members of the ICT Federation Board), Farzin Ferdis (Vice President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce), and Mehdi Karbasian, former Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade.

Company executives expressed satisfaction with the strong and enthusiastic reception received at the Iranian Pavilion, describing the turnout as “beyond expectations.” They also praised the ICT Federation’s efforts in organizing Iran’s participation and underscored the strategic value of GITEX for identifying business opportunities in the region and beyond-particularly amid ongoing economic challenges and sanctions.

The pavilion serves as a gateway to global technology markets, providing a venue for B2B networking, specialized trade meetings, and investment discussions aimed at fostering international partnerships and attracting foreign investment.

The active participation of Iranian companies and startups at GITEX 2025 highlights the strength, creativity, and resilience of Iran’s technology sector. For participating teams, the event offers a valuable platform to showcase their products and services on a global stage, connect with international investors, and explore the latest trends shaping the digital economy.

Observers hope that Iran’s growing presence at international technology exhibitions such as GITEX will pave the way for expanded global engagement and open new horizons for the country’s fast-evolving innovation ecosystem.
