Air Astana has temporarily suspended several flights to the United Arab Emirates as security concerns continue to grow amid the escalating situation in the Middle East.
Flights KC897/898 on the Almaty-Dubai-Almaty route scheduled for July 13 and 14, along with flight KC205/206 on the Astana-Dubai-Astana route scheduled for July 14, have been canceled, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
Passengers affected by the disruption are eligible for a full refund through their original point of purchase or may rebook free of charge. The flexible rebooking option applies to flights scheduled between July 12 and 18, with travel available on alternative flights through July 31.
Air Astana said it is closely monitoring developments in the Middle East and is taking steps to ensure the safe return of passengers. The airline added that further changes to its flight schedule will be announced as the situation evolves.
Earlier, the carrier had already warned travelers of adjustments to its Dubai operations before confirming the temporary suspension.
