Armenian PM Invites Kazakh President for State Visit

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially invited Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay a state visit to Armenia.

Pashinyan extended the invitation during a press conference in Astana following his meeting with Tokayev, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.

“I am confident that when this visit takes place, we will be able to state that, as a result of the current visit, our relations have already reached a new level. We will have the opportunity and the space to shape a new agenda and actively move forward with its implementation,” Pashinyan said.

The Armenian prime minister also revealed that he invited President Tokayev to participate in the COP17 climate summit, which Armenia is set to host in the autumn 2026.
