A fire has erupted on the premises of a shopping and entertainment center in Aktau, prompting an emergency response from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which covered an area of 500 square meters. The fire broke out on the roof of a separate boiler house building located within the mall complex in the city’s 16th microdistrict. Emergency crews responded under an elevated alert level, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

According to officials, no injuries have been reported.

Earlier, another fire was recorded in Aktobe’s Almaty district, where a standalone single-story warehouse used for storing eggs caught fire on the grounds of a poultry farm in the Zharyk residential area.
