India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has suspended flights to and from Almaty, Kazakhstan, through February 28, 2026, amid growing regional security concerns.
In an official statement, the airline said the decision was made in response to the evolving situation around Iran, emphasizing that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
“We have made additional adjustments to our flight schedule to ensure the safety of our customers and crew, as well as uninterrupted operations,” IndiGo noted.
As part of the revised schedule, IndiGo has also canceled flights to and from Tbilisi, Baku, and Tashkent until the end of February. Affected passengers are being offered the option to rebook their journeys or receive a full refund.
The airline added that any further updates or changes to its operations will be communicated via official channels as the situation develops.
