Kazakh Artists Perform Traditional, Modern Music in Istanbul

Artists from Kazakhstan’s Qazaqconcert State Academic Organization named after Roza Baglanova have performed in Istanbul, Türkiye, blending traditional and contemporary music.

The concert featured laureates of national and international competitions, presenting a rich program that intertwined Kazakhstan’s musical heritage with modern interpretations, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Works by Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, Ukili Ybyray, Korkyt, Saken Seifullin, and Nurgissa Tlendiyev were performed alongside Kazakh and Turkish folk songs.

The event served as an important platform to showcase Kazakhstan’s musical traditions to Turkish audiences while strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
