Kazakh, Iranian Presidents Hold Talks to Deepen Cooperation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has welcomed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at the Akorda Palace to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

A traditional Guard of Honor lined the Ceremonial Hall, and the Presidential Orchestra performed both countries’ anthems before the leaders proceeded along the blue carpet for a closed-door meeting, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

During the official visit, the two presidents are expected to discuss ways to strengthen Kazakh-Iranian cooperation in trade, transport and logistics, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.
