Kazakh President Receives Italian Counterpart in Warm Welcome at Akorda Residence

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has warmly welcomed Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Akorda Residence.

The traditional Guard of Honor was presented in the Ceremonial Hall to pay tribute to the esteemed guest, while the Presidential Orchestra performed the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Italy, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

Following the formal ceremony, the two presidents walked together toward the Kazakh State Flag and then proceeded to hold a private, narrow-format meeting.

This official visit, made at the invitation of President Tokayev, provides an important platform for both leaders to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural-humanitarian relations.
