Kazakh Swimmers Make Splash with Two More Silver Medals at Asian Championships

Kazakh swimmers have added two more silver medals to their haul at the 11th Asian Aquatics Championships in Ahmedabad, India.

On the day’s events, Gleb Kovalenya earned silver in the men’s 50-meter freestyle, and Aibat Myrzamuratov secured silver in the men’s 50-meter breaststroke. These results build on Kazakhstan’s strong start at the tournament, when their swimmers captured three medals - two silver and one bronze - on the opening day, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

In parallel competition, Kazakh para swimmers also excelled in Bangkok. Sanzhar Askar won silver in the youth 100-meter butterfly and bronze in both the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events, while Valeriy Yugay took bronze in the youth 200-meter medley.
