Kazakhstan Dispatches Humanitarian Aid to Iran

Kazakhstan has delivered 30 wagons of humanitarian assistance to Iran within the framework of a government-supported aid initiative carried out in coordination with several state agencies.

The shipment was organized in accordance with a decree adopted by the Kazakh government and implemented with the involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, and the international development agency KazAID, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

The cargo consists of food products and medical supplies aimed at assisting people affected in Iran.

The humanitarian assistance will be handed over to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, which will oversee its distribution.
