Kazakhstan and the European Union have made significant progress in negotiations aimed at simplifying visa procedures and strengthening mobility between the two sides.
During the latest round of talks, delegations from Kazakhstan and the EU continued discussions on draft agreements covering visa facilitation and readmission, focusing on measures that could make travel more convenient for Kazakh citizens, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
Key topics included reducing visa processing times, expanding access to multiple-entry visas, simplifying documentation requirements and introducing other practical steps to support people-to-people contacts.
According to Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry, both sides achieved substantial progress on most provisions of the proposed agreements and expressed readiness to continue negotiations.
