Kazakhstan’s Fencing Team Triumphs at 2025 Asian Cadet Cup

Kazakhstan’s fencing team has showcased impressive results on the second day of the 2025 Women’s and Men’s Asian Cadet Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, winning several medals.

In the men’s team foil event, Yedil Kusman, Valentin Sladkov, Yevgeny Tokanov, and Mansur Yesteu claimed the gold medal, standing atop the podium, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The women’s sabre competition produced two Kazakh medalists: Nailya Iskhakova, Aiganym Kakenova, Aisha Syzdyk, and Leona Yugay earned silver, while Sofiya Andriyanova, Arina Frolova, Aidana Karatayeva, and Sofiya Yakovleva secured bronze.

In the individual foil category, Alua Mukanova achieved third place, adding to Kazakhstan’s medal tally.

On the first day of the tournament, Kazakhstan had already won three bronze medals, underlining the team’s continued strong performance throughout the competition.
