Kazakh Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration Aizhan Bizhanova has said that Kazakhstan plans to adopt several of Azerbaijan’s successful digital practices into its national legislation.
Bizhanova made these remarks at the Eurasian Franchising Forum in Baku, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
She noted that digital transformation and innovation have become central to Kazakhstan’s economic growth strategy.
“Information technologies, artificial intelligence, and the development of digital platforms are the main drivers of competitiveness today,” she said. “During my visit, I became familiar with several impressive digital solutions that we intend to integrate into our national framework. We see great potential in combining digital technologies with franchising models to make trade more accessible, transparent, and efficient.”
Bizhanova also underlined that Azerbaijan remains one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in the Caspian region.
“Our trade and economic cooperation is showing steady growth each year. In the first eight months of this year alone, bilateral trade reached around $350 million. With our presidents setting an ambitious target to increase this figure to $1 billion, I am confident this goal is within reach,” she said.
Kazakhstan’s decision to incorporate Azerbaijan’s advanced digital solutions reflects both countries’ commitment to strengthening technological partnerships and advancing innovation-driven trade across the Caspian region.
