KazTransOil Raises Crude Oil Export, Transit Rates

KazTransOil has approved new tariffs for crude oil export and transit services, following Orders No. 7 and No. 8 signed by the company’s general director on January 30, 2026.

The updated tariffs will come into force on March 1, 2026, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Under Order No. 7, service rates at the T. Kassymov Oil Pumping Station and the Shagyr oil loading rack have been revised. The cost of unloading crude oil from railway tank cars at the T. Kassymov station will rise to 1,715.05 tenge per tonne (excluding VAT), an increase of 969 tenge, or 130 percent.

Transshipment of crude oil into the Kenkiyak-Atyrau pipeline at the same station will be set at 80.99 tenge per tonne, up by 0.8 percent. Meanwhile, loading crude oil into railway tank cars at the Shagyr facility will increase to 517 tenge per tonne, an 84 percent rise.

Order No. 8 introduces changes to tariffs for transporting Russian-origin crude oil in transit through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. The transit transportation cost will be set at $28.02 per tonne (excluding VAT), up 0.4 percent, while the loading tariff at the Shagyr facility will increase to $0.96 per tonne, marking a 14 percent rise.

KazTransOil is Kazakhstan’s national oil pipeline operator, providing transportation services for domestic supply, transit, and exports. The company manages a network of more than 5,196 kilometers of main oil pipelines, supported by 36 pumping stations, 68 oil heating furnaces, and tank storage facilities with a total capacity exceeding 1.4 million cubic meters. It also operates railway loading infrastructure and the Aktau sea oil terminal, which handles tanker shipments across three berths.
