Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan deepen cultural and humanitarian ties

State Counselor of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin has met with Kyrgyz State Secretary Marat Imankulov in Almaty, where both officials underscored the importance of enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation and affirmed their readiness to launch joint initiatives and support creative exchanges between the two nations.

During the meeting, Karin highlighted President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s latest initiatives aimed at accelerating the country’s modernization, while Imankulov outlined new cultural and educational projects planned in Kyrgyzstan, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

As part of the program, the officials toured the National Central Museum and attended a performance of Jamila, staged by the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic. The musical is based on the iconic work of celebrated Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
