Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Gather in Kazakhstan for Key Secretariat Meeting

The 23rd Session of the Secretariat of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions has officially opened in Astana, Kazakhstan, bringing together prominent leaders from diverse religious traditions.

Azerbaijan is represented at the session by Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB) and a permanent member of the Congress Secretariat, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The session precedes the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, scheduled for September 17-18 in Astana. Over 100 delegations from around 60 countries are expected to participate in the congress, which will focus on addressing key global and interfaith issues.
