The number of measles cases is increasing in West Kazakhstan.

According to the West Kazakhstan Health Department, 57 people have been hospitalized at the regional infectious disease hospital since the beginning of the year. Of these, 38 have already been discharged, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Currently, 19 patients remain in the hospital, including 18 children and one adult. Two children are receiving care in the intensive care unit. All patients are under close medical supervision.
