Military Accident Claims Life of Contract Soldier in Kazakhstan

A tragic incident has occurred in Kazakhstan, when a military KamAZ truck fatally struck a contract soldier, a junior sergeant, while returning from the Oymasha training ground in the Aktau garrison.

The accident happened under adverse weather conditions-icy roads, limited visibility, and darkness. The soldier succumbed to his injuries on the spot, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched, and authorities are working to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
