The bodies of two schoolchildren have been found in the Zhambyl Region of Kazakhstan.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the two pupils from different families may have died by suicide in Kordai District. No farewell notes were found, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The Zhambyl Region Police Department confirmed that a criminal case has been opened, and investigators are carrying out procedures to establish all circumstances of the incident.

Psychological support has been organized for pupils and parents in the region.
