Tokayev: Kazakhstan Prioritizes Further Deepening of Strategic Partnership with China

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Astana Han Chunlin.

As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, the Republic of Kazakhstan attaches priority attention to further deepening of comprehensive strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazinform.

The Kazakh President noted that Han Chunlin’s diplomatic mission falls on active period of development of the bilateral relations and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to attach additional impetus to the whole range of interaction with China.

Han Chunlin conveyed his warm greetings and wishes from the Chinese Leader Xi Jinping and noted that, largely due to active political dialogue at the highest level, the eternal strategic partnership of the two countries has reached an unprecedented level of development.

Han Chunlin assured Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that he would make every effort to preserve high dynamics of mutual relations and to further strengthen the Kazakh-Chinese multilateral ties.

The meeting also focused on the key issues of the bilateral agenda, including the prospects for the development of trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
