A tower crane caught fire at a construction site in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on the evening of March 23, prompting a swift emergency response.
The blaze broke out on the crane’s boom at a residential building site located on Taimanov Street in the Medeu district, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Fire crews quickly brought the situation under control, extinguishing the flames over a small area of about 2 square meters. Due to the height of the structure, firefighters deployed specialized equipment, including aerial ladders and high-capacity water monitors, to tackle the fire.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.
