Tragedy in Karaganda: Child Falls From High-Rise Window in Kazakhstan

A tragic incident has occurred in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, where a 4-year-old child fell from a fourth-floor apartment window while visiting relatives.

The accident took place in the Gulder-1 residential area of the city, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Officials say the child arrived with parents from Astana. While adults were in another room, the child was left alone and fell from the window of a ninth-floor building’s fourth-floor apartment.

The child sustained multiple severe injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition.

Emergency response officers are once again urging parents to take strict safety measures, including installing window locks, keeping furniture away from windows, and never leaving children unattended.

Rescuers also stressed an important warning: mosquito nets do not prevent children from falling out of windows - a reminder that even a moment of inattention can lead to tragedy.
