US Top Diplomats Visit Almaty to Boost Relations with Kazakhstan

US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau have arrived in Almaty for a high-profile visit aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan-US ties.

During their stay, the diplomats met with business leaders and heads of American companies operating in Kazakhstan and toured key local attractions, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Shymbulak Ski Resort, and Medeu Ice Skating Rink.

The visit, which runs from October 26-30, also includes meetings with government officials in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to discuss a broad range of economic and security issues. Aibek Dadebay, Head of the President’s Executive Office, is accompanying the US delegation throughout their trip.
