Uzbekistan, US Deepen Dialogue on Trade and Public Safety

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, has met with a US delegation led by Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation, focusing on new opportunities in trade development and strengthening collaboration in public safety.

Mirziyoyeva noted that senior US officials highlighted the scale and dynamism of the reforms carried out under President Shavkat Mirziyoyev over the past eight years, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

She emphasized that such meetings help both sides better understand and realize their shared potential. “Thanks to the policy of openness, Uzbekistan is becoming increasingly attractive for implementing joint projects in education, culture, the economy, and other areas,” Mirziyoyeva said.
