Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan Deepen Migration Dialogue

Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have held their first bilateral consultations on migration cooperation in an online format, marking a new step in strengthening dialogue between the two countries in this area.

The consultations were conducted as part of the implementation of an intergovernmental agreement between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani State Migration Service.

The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by the Director of the Main Department for Migration Policy and Legal Support of the State Migration Service, while the Kyrgyz side was represented by the Head of the External Migration Department of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan.

During the talks, the sides exchanged information on national migration legislation and shared their practical experience in regulating migration processes. They also discussed potential new areas of cooperation aimed at improving coordination and expanding bilateral engagement in the migration sphere.
