Chinese Electric Car Imports to Kyrgyzstan Halve in Q1

The import of Chinese electric cars to Kyrgyzstan in the first quarter of 2025 dropped by 50% compared to the same period last year, according to the General Administration of Customs of China.

1,300 electric cars were imported in three months, including almost 600 in March, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.

The value of imports decreased by 6.8 times to $16.7 million.

Average prices for electric cars from China ranged from $11,000 to $13,000.
