The Sports Palace in Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek has turned into the capital’s biggest coffee hub as COFFEE FEST KG officially kicked off, gathering baristas, roasters, industry experts, and hundreds of coffee enthusiasts.

The Bishkek City Hall confirmed the event’s grand opening, attended by Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev, who highlighted the growing importance of the coffee industry for the city’s economy, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Visitors were treated to a packed program featuring:

expert-led master classes and lectures on roasting, brewing, service, and new market trends;

a major exhibition showcasing manufacturers, roasters, equipment suppliers, packaging companies, and accessories;

barista competitions and live demonstrations of cutting-edge professional coffee equipment;

a vibrant tasting zone offering rare coffee varieties and signature drinks;

and a prize draw with giveaways, including brand-new smartphones.
