Mild Earthquake Hits Border Region Between Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan

A magnitude 3 earthquake was recorded on November 24 early morning on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The tremors occurred at 5:25 a.m., with the epicenter located in the Trans-Alai Range, 28 km southeast of Zhar-Bashi, 28 km southwest of Achyk-Suu, and 145 km southwest of Osh, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Officials confirmed that the earthquake was not felt in populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, and no damage or casualties have been reported.

Seismologists continue monitoring the region for any potential aftershocks.
