Earthquake Strikes Kyrgyzstan’s Chatkal District with 5.4 Magnitude Force

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck western Kyrgyzstan.

The tremor was felt in parts of the Jalal-Abad Region, though no injuries or damage have been reported so far, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

The earthquake’s epicenter was located about 45 kilometers northwest of the town of Kanysh-Kyya, in the mountainous Chatkal District. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
