Russia’s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sergey Vakunov has said that Russian companies are increasingly viewing Kyrgyzstan as a trusted and strategic partner.
Speaking at the opening of the 23rd International Specialized Exhibition of the Construction Industry "KyrgyzBuild 2026" in Bishkek, Vakunov highlighted deepening economic and industrial ties between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He noted that Russia and Kyrgyzstan are connected not only through membership in the Eurasian Economic Union but also through shared engineering traditions and unified standards.
The ambassador noted that this common foundation provides a strong competitive advantage for cooperation in construction and infrastructure development.
Russian companies, he said, are offering modern, reliable, and innovative solutions designed to meet strict requirements for:
Energy efficiency
Safety standards
Technological innovation
These solutions are also adapted to the region’s specific conditions, including high seismic activity, mountainous terrain, and extreme temperature fluctuations.
The exhibition opened in Bishkek on April 14, bringing together around 50 Russian companies from eight regions of Russia.
