Kyrgyz Foreign Minister to Visit Oman in Landmark Diplomatic Move

On February 11-12, 2025, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev will make the first official visit to the Sultanate of Oman in the history of bilateral relations at the invitation of Omani Foreign Minister Said Albusaidi.

The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that the visit will include talks between the heads of the foreign policy departments, during which they discuss current issues of Kyrgyz-Omani cooperation, including political interaction, development of trade, economic and investment ties, as well as cooperation within international organizations, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev will also hold meetings with the leadership of Oman, as well as with representatives of a number of government agencies and departments to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
