Kyrgyz President Inspects New Cement Plant in Chui Region

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has visited the new cement plant under construction in Kemin district, Chui region, to inspect the project’s progress.

Azamat Osmonov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Chui region, said the plant will have a production capacity of 3,200 tons of clinker per day and will cover 43 hectares. The facility is scheduled for commissioning in 2027, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The project is expected to create more than 300 jobs during construction and over 500 once the plant is operational.

President Japarov stressed the importance of adhering strictly to construction deadlines and highlighted the plant’s role in boosting the region’s socioeconomic development. He also instructed government agencies to provide full support to investors to ensure timely completion.
