During his working visit to the US, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has held talks with President Donald Trump, focusing on strengthening political, economic, and technological cooperation between the two nations.
The leaders discussed opportunities in financial technology and artificial intelligence, with President Japarov highlighting Kyrgyzstan’s biggest asset: its educated youth driving innovation in IT and digital finance, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He also presented plans for the country’s national stablecoin KGST and the creation of a state crypto reserve, aligning with Trump’s recent GENIUS Act on stablecoins.
Trump welcomed the discussions, emphasizing that high-level dialogue will strengthen bilateral cooperation and support initiatives promoting sustainable development, security, and prosperity for both nations.
