Kyrgyz President Welcomes New Japanese Ambassador

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has received Ryuichi Hirano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kyrgyzstan, on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials.

Congratulating the ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission, President Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan regards Japan as a close friend and key partner, noting that bilateral relations continue strengthening year by year, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

He said a solid and productive framework of cooperation has been built over decades, with long-term initiatives underway and regular high-level contacts assisting to expand priority areas of partnership.

The president expressed confidence that Ambassador Hirano’s work will further deepen Kyrgyzstan-Japan ties and contribute to the launch of new mutually beneficial projects.

For his part, Ryuichi Hirano thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm reception and highlighted the high level of mutual understanding and partnership between the two countries. He conveyed greetings to President Japarov on behalf of Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, noting their readiness to welcome the Kyrgyz leader on an official visit to Japan in the near future.

The ambassador added that with active engagement and support from the leadership of both nations, Japan-Kyrgyzstan cooperation is set to develop dynamically and gain new momentum.
