Kyrgyz President Welcomes New Swiss Ambassador, Pledges Stronger Bilateral Ties

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has formally received credentials from Siroco Messerli, the newly appointed Swiss Ambassador, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepening the multifaceted partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland.

During the meeting, President Japarov congratulated Messerli on the start of his mission and praised the stable political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland, which he said reflects positive developments in bilateral relations, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

“Switzerland is a partner we highly value, and we are eager to expand our cooperation in all areas,” President Japarov stated, stressing the need to enhance economic ties and grow mutual trade.

Messerli, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and lauded Kyrgyzstan's economic achievements. He reaffirmed Switzerland’s intent to deepen collaboration in sectors of mutual interest.
