Kyrgyz Sambo Team Grabs Three Medals at World Games in China

The Kyrgyz national combat sambo team has captured three bronze medals at the 2025 World Games.

The event was held in Chengdu, China, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

The medalists include:

Kurmanbek Zamirbek Uulu - under 71 kg

Bekten Erkebay Uulu - under 88 kg

Uson kyzy Akak - under 54 kg

The World Games 2025, running from August 7 to 17, feature nearly 4,000 athletes competing in 256 events across 34 sports, showcasing a wide array of international talent.
