Kyrgyzstan, China Enhance Cooperation in Mineral Development for Clean Energy

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Commerce of China, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The signing took place on February 5, 2025, as part of the visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to China, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The memorandum is aimed at implementing the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2026 and the 14th Five-Year Development Plan of China.

The main goal of the memorandum is to strengthen investment cooperation in the development of minerals for clean energy technologies and open up new growth points in this area.
