Kyrgyzstan Clinches Sixth Place at CIS Games with 25-Medal Performance

Kyrgyzstan has finished sixth in the overall medal standings at the Third Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Games, capturing 25 medals-1 gold, 15 silver, and 9 bronze-among a delegation of 126 athletes.

Russia dominated the competition, topping the table with 231 medals (130 gold, 61 silver, 40 bronze), The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

Azerbaijan finished second with 184 medals (33 gold, 56 silver, 95 bronze), while Belarus took third place with 122 medals (32 gold, 38 silver, 52 bronze).

The Games were held across seven cities in Azerbaijan, encompassing competitions in 21 sports and the awarding of 505 medal sets.
