The Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a flash warning about the risk of mudslides in the country due to unstable weather conditions expected between July 28 and 31.
Forecasters predict that localized heavy rainfall during this period could trigger mudflows and lead to rising river levels, particularly in the mountainous and foothill areas of the republic, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant, avoid travel to vulnerable zones, follow safety guidelines, and monitor official updates closely.
