The initiative was unveiled during the ninth meeting of SCO health ministers held in Bishkek. According to the country’s Health Ministry, the platform would serve as a permanent online space for experts to exchange best practices, coordinate joint initiatives, and discuss key challenges in health system management, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The proposed SCO Dialogue Platform is designed to foster systematic interaction among member states, enabling regular thematic discussions and sharing of national experiences in a structured, digital format.

Participants at the meeting voiced strong support for the initiative, highlighting its potential to deepen collaboration and improve the efficiency of healthcare systems across the region.

As the current chair, Kyrgyzstan emphasized the importance of building lasting cooperation mechanisms to address evolving public health challenges.
